First Fair

Last Sat evening we went to the Fair, as you may have read in the previous post. Here are some pictures of Caden enjoying the fun.

Caden pointing at the sheep. He thought it was funny when they came up to his finger. I on the other hand was a little worried that he might receive a nibble from them, but we left with all of our fingers so that was good. On a side note so you don't think I'm a crazy first time mom, Ricky did see a film last week for a zebra bite. Yes there was zebra in the petting zoo....no we didn't pet them.

They had a little area set up with kid friendly john deer trackers for little ones to ride. Caden enjoyed it.

Boone County Fair

What a fun weekend we had. We went to the Boone County Fair. It definitely wasn't the best nor biggest fair we've ever been to, but it was Caden's first. For those of you who don't know, Columbia is in Boone County and the fair is in the city limits. I don't think a lot of people in Columbia go to this fair because they see the fair as "country" or not very classy. At least that is the impression that we got. Most people were very surprised that we were going. But we didn't care! I guess we are a little country and not as "classy" as some. We decided to go and eat some corndogs, visit the children's petting zoo, and check out some pig races. It was a pretty fun evening. I am including some videos from the pig races. Ricky felt that these were blog worthy. I'm going to upload some pictures of Caden enjoying the fun (maybe later this evening).

Waisting Time

Ricky had to work late again tonight, actually he is still not home and it is 9:30, and I was trying to waist some time before bath time so I pulled out the camera and here is what I captured. I little boy that is into anything and everything.
